Absolutely agree with jeremyinsf. It's watering the mostly kills them, I find it's amazing what you can grow at lower temps when the plants are kept dry. I just grew thaianum for example outside all winter with trouble and the roots are fine. Just gave them a splash every now and then and grew them dry.

Paphs and Phrags can cope with some punishment.....just not overwatering (and burning sun of course).
