If you all remember, I had purchased a sad looking psychopsis from Clown Alley Orchids. It had several tiny leafless pseudobulbs with one large leaf and a new growth on opposite sides of the series of leafless pseudobulbs. I had requested a replacement as the new growth started to yellow within days of receiving it. The seller then sent out a replacement the following week (sent Monday, received Tuesday), and I'm actually really impressed with the replacement. This psychopsis had larger leaves with large plump pseudobulbs that was in a reasonably sized pot. Now that I had my replacement, the first psychopsis had to go. As I was unpotting it (I had a shortage of pots) with the intention of throwing it away, I noticed a new, small green root below the pseudobulb with the single leaf. By now, there were only three pseudobulbs left. Guess that little root saved it from the garbage heap!
