Hi. I'm Random Gemini and I'm an OrchidAddict.
So there I am, minding my own business when I spy this little cutie.
You know it had to come home with me! I am such an addict. This has to stop! At least it's a mini phal, but I really do have to get a handle on this addiction. Maybe I should consider taking up golf? LOL!

Hi, I have the exact same one: would you happen to know its exact name? mine did not come with any tags.

Golf would really be dangerous. You'll end up looking for native orchids growing between the fairways.

I have no idea. Mine is also a noid. I found it at the grocery store while I was grabbing supplies to make a birthday cake. I've seen similar looking hybrids online, but they were not mini phals.
Ron, I'm not sure there's such a thing as wild orchids in Eastern WA, but we DO have golf courses… I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to visit one and find out if we have the other.

Your plant is known as a Harlequin Phalaenopsis - there are a lot of different kinds, and it's impossible to know what it is just by looking at it. The flowers on that kind tend to last a long time, so - enjoy!

Lol, Hi! My name is Mary Linn, and I'm an orchid addict too!
Btw, it's not your fault that it came home with you, they just jump in our shopping carts when we aren't looking, and we just don't notice we have them, until we get home... and after we get home, who wants to go back to the store?!? heheheh I'm not enabling! Nope nope! I would never do something like that!
It's really pretty!

That is a really cute mini. I always wanted one like that but I don't have the room for a large one. I haven't seen a mini before. I am going to have to look for one.
Hey, I can stop at any time...really. Right.
Actually, I confess, the addiction is quite terrible. Not only do I enjoy collecting orchids, I collect other plants. I always think I am finished and then there is something else. Sigh. It never ends. :|

My coworkers and family think I'm insane, but then I go on OB and I feel normal
My husband sort of gets me though bc he has an addiction to buying fountain pens and ink. Though, those have to jump into his online shopping carts
