Bottled water ok? We buy bottled water and someone always ends up opening one, taking a swig and leaves the rest sitting on the kitchen counter overnight. I use those bottles to mix up fertilizer for my plants.

I guess that would depend on what kind of bottled water you use. If it is R/o water it is very different from well water or spring water. Rain water should be fine. I used to melt snow or use water from a dehumidifier.

It says it's purified using "either" RO or distillation, but they add minerals back for taste. As far as what they add back, who knows?

It is hard to say what they add. Some minerals are good for your plants but who knows how much?

Remineralized water is fine. The minerals added are no more than 40 ppm, which is practically RO quality. Check the label, the amounts should be listed, possibly as TDS (total dissolved salts)
