Just out watering this afternoon and thought I'd share what I saw with you. This isn't what it's all about for me since I love growing, rescuing, and saving the nearly dead. But it is nice to see the results. So keep on learning, looking, and sharing. Hope everyone is well this nice day. Thanks for looking.
PS. But there are disappointments for us. The last is LC Chyong Guu Swan 'White Jade'. It bloomed last year and is spectacular. Huge ruffly white petals and sepals with a deep deep royal purple lip and a deep yellow throat. This bud grew very long and swollen. Then beginning of the week I noticed some yellowing of the sheath. I peeled it back and this is what I found. Broke my heart. I usually cut the tops off all of my sheaths to help prevent the buds from rotting as well as withholding water from them. But I watered this last weekend because it hadn't been watered for a month. Live and learn.
