FYI:
Here is the pot it was repotted in. Here also are pictures of the rest of my orchids. The ones left in the big pot are Phals. Those were the pots they came in, but have been repotted with new mix.

Today the 2nd keiki died. I truly believe it was because of the re pot. I never should have re potted it. It lived in a too big pot for years and was happy and had great roots. If nothings broke then don't try to fix it. I'm now building a new greenhouse attached to my house for my orchids so I can get rid of the supplemental lights.

Try not to pot it in too large of pot so that it can dry out reasonably fast.

They WERE in a large pot, I re potted it in a smaller one due to a suggestion. I'm convinced that killed them. I should have left it alone.

No, not likely that putting them in a smaller pot killed them. Sometimes if a little water gets in to the crown it rots it but also if the roots were also rotting it's gone. I have had good results potting in only the size that fits so that it will dry out quickly and my favourite mixture is coconut chips mixed with perlite. It works for me.
