My hopeful thinking is that this is the beginning of a flower stem on my Phalaenopsis.....OR is this just another root.....
Also, please note this white rim on the one leaf, this plant came this way, and no matter how many new leaves come along....it seems to materialize again....
Very har to tell on this photo. But the thing that looks like a green pea could be a stem. If it get less green when drying up it probably is a root.
But I would give you another advice. You have some water in the crown. Be carefull so you do not get crown rot! make sure no water is standing in the crown.....

Yowzer....I'm on this plant this morning.....thought when I transplanted this summer I was doing fine....Its been one year and a few months since the last bloom....
