Well since you shared I decided to share a picture of my shelly at feeding time this morning. He loves the hibiscus blooms and the African Violets leaves and blooms as well.

They are one of his spring/summer time favorites. I don't usually keep anything in the tank with him because he will stomp it to death or try to burrow underneath it.

Your hermits sound like my shelly with hiding treats, post feedings I find his tunnel space littered with hibiscus bloom pieces, i also find it when i do the clean out each week.
What a cutie! Love the pattern on the shell and the flowers

Hi there all,

Thanks again for all the great suggestions. I feel like I waisted your time though because, it seems fate wasn't going to let me choose my first non-Phals.

As told in this thread I received 2 new orchids for free. I went to an orchid auction and won one in a free raffle and the other was just given to me (also bid on and won a Phal).

If anyone want to give me their on my new chids, please do help me. These particular ones are hard to find culture info on.

Anyway, I won complain about receiving free orchids!! I just want to know how to care for them.

Thanks again guys!!

((and I love the hermit crabs!! Thanks for sharing))
