Ahhh! Cool and humid also mean "watch out for fungus, root rot, and a host of other bad guys". Just keep a close eye on your babies. Many orchids like to dry out really well before getting more to drink.

Most of mine are now becoming mounted; and due to extreme heat being watered every day because their media dried so quick. Or just bc they were mounted and needed water. This just saves me watering duty for about 4 days.
Its supposed to start warming back up tomorrow.

It is raining here but the plants have come inside.
I do live the natural rain. I barely had to water this summer, just the way I like it.

Well, we had the first night low @ 65 last night so all mine are greenhouse/house bound because it is supposed to get lows towards 56* so after drying a bit they will be back in place. But fall is officially in the air!! Hurray no more treiple digit weather..fingers crossed...
