Default I think this one needs re-potting !

A rather sad looking dendrobium that was in my dad's collection - the tag says 17/2/02, so I'm guessing it hasn't been touched since 2002. There is a pot in under there somewhere, and the roots have grown right into the styrofoam box. There also seems to be a section of "dendrobium kingianum" tangled up in there as well.

And as sad as it looks, it still has managed to have a few buds forming.

It looks like it will be fine if it's just repotted. Good luck.

As gangly as it looks, it looks healthy and just in need of a corralling and a repot. Enjoy the flowers! As No-Pro, I'd like to know how everything is going as well?

...after all this at your father's house is done, y'all should take a weekend vacation. I'm sure it will be much needed.

The house changes hands on Monday, one more big weekend to finish clearing the yard this weekend and I can have a rest ! My daughter counted the collection the other day, I now have 287 orchids, there are still half a dozen boxes of 10 - 12 orchids each box ready to bring home, and friends / family / workmates have taken about the same number. One of the wife's workmates is in the local orchid society, he has taken quite a few and I will head along to one of their monthly meetings when I have my spare time back.

Looks like I have a new hobby !
