Questions for Moderators and the Advanced Members

So I downloaded this app for the iPhone called "Tapatalk" so I can be on the Orchidboard.com forums while on the move. Does anyone know how to use it so I can upload pictures of my orchids? Any help you guys can give me will be MUCH appreciated. The Orchid Boy thinks I should put up pics of my babies. Thanks family.

If I can't do it this way someone told me I could use something called Flickr and link it to my Orchidboard.com account. Help me you guys I broke my Samsung Galaxy S3 with all of my "noids" as The Orchid Boy would say and I can't get the pictures I need but they are on my instagram "DaRealKevinGibson"

On tapatalk, there's a button with a camera on it, click that to attach photos - but I don't know how many / if there's a limit you can upload that way.

I haven't used instagram much, but I would think they, like other photo sharing sites, might provide a link you can copy and paste into your posts to attach the photo.

I use Tapatalk for iPad and Kindle/Android. It works the same on both platform. Here is how it looks when you are replying to a note--I'm replying to your note via my iPad. This is a screen shot. When you can capture images directly from a note by pressing the camera. Or if you already have a photo stored on your Samsung, you can post that image into your screen.

Using Tapatalk allows you quick access to OrchidBoard. I am a member here, Orchid Geeks, Phalaenopsis Discussion, and SlipperTalk. All four forum use Tapatalk. You can easily go from one forum to another via Tapatalk without having to login ever time or experiencing time outs.

I re-read your post, sorry, I did not catch that you now have an iPhone? If you haven't already updated to the new iOS7, you really should (back up first). I updated this iPad last night and it is fantastic.

Thanks Matt! That was a great how-to post! Lol, I wouldn't have known about that update, if you hadn't mentioned it! I use my iPad all the time, altho, I use the safari (regular website page) to view the forums... Don't know why, but I haven't gotten into using tappatalk, I like the regular way much better

There are some things not visible on Tapatalk, versus access via Safari--advertisements for instance. It seems I use less data if I access the OB via Tapatalk. The iOS7 is very good. It really is new and I'm finding it is taking some getting to know you time.

I haven't updated to the new ios7 and I've always had an iPhone since the iPhone 3 this is an iPhone 4 but I switched over to team galaxy (sorry guys the android is just a better phone and has a more powerful OS to me) i dropped my baby tho :-( so I'm temporarily using the iPhone I gave to my fiancée. I'm gonna update to ios7 now. And I'm using Tapatalk right now I find it cool on the current OS I'm using. Finally getting used to it so smooth and silky! :-)
