Yes, I see that white matter only where roots are touching the pot or where are attached to bark. Thanks!

If it's not spreading on the rest of the root, and you say it otherwise seems to be a healthy root, then I would strongly suspect it might just be part of the normal root growth. Still don't know for sure but that's my thought
