Phalaenopsis received- do I need to repot? Female
Default

Hi there,
So for some reason this happened... It's happening on both of the remaining stems with blooms, one of the stems broke off in the middle when it fell earlier.

I also attached a picture of the leaves, i feel like they are not looking as good as they used to

The leaves look fine to me. The end of the spike is just done, sometimes sudden shock/change, can make it abort a tiny bud, it's nothing to worry about!

So that's just what it does when it's done blooming? How weird haha.
Thanks again!

Mine abort really tiny buds sometimes as well. I wouldn't worry.

Any change in growing conditions, just going from the store to your home, and new light conditions or temperatures change etc will cause buds at a certain stage of development to fall off. I usually try to buy a new phal. when it has first come into the store and has many big buds to open and always check the roots to see if they are nice and green and dry, not soggy brown after they have sat in the store for a long time.
