Okay, I will work on getting a new pot and all the materials that tutorial gave me. Very helpful, thank you all so much!
I didn't really want to repot while it's blooming so beautifully, but it's probably better for the long term health.

Here is another picture of what's going on now. It looks a bit yellow in some spots

I really hope the roots are okay on the inside! That's definitely my worst nightmare that when I go to repot it's a huge rotted mess. I cut more holes in the bottom and pulled out a lot of moss, it's really wet, so that worries me.
Don't let that worry you so much. The one that I saved yesterday had a lot of green, pretty roots too and yours definitely does. I think that with Phals, as long as you have a few green roots, it will recover from anything. Yours looks to be in good health from what we can see on the outside, so I wouldn't worry too much about what's on the inside. Phals are REALLY forgiving. They're cool like that.

What do you guys think of these pots:

Oxygen Core Dual™ Pots

Also, any specific potting mixes suggested? Do I need to get a fertilizer?

The yellow on the roots look fine, sometimes their roots are more yellow-white when they don't receive sun, which isn't a big deal, they don't have to get sunlight on their roots. If you keep an eye on the roots, as long as they don't start going downhill, you can prob wait to repot until its done blooming (like when it has lost a few flowers, and the rest are starting to go) as long as you don't water it anymore. I would also maybe leave it out of its decorative pot, so that it does have the chance to dry out a little. Your roots look great by the way. If they do start to change, then post pics, so we can advise further, but I think it's fine for now.

Update:

The plant just randomly fell onto the ground, it got pretty beat up. Poor blooms I don't know what happened. I heard it in the other room and ran over. The cat was on my lap, wasn't her.

It's okay. If the blooms fell off, it's no big deal. Phals are actually kinda sturdy. I don't think a tumble from a table top will kill it.

Phalaenopsis received- do I need to repot?-imageuploadedbytapatalk1378947356-728115-jpgThis is the seed pod, and perhaps some tiny yellowish flowers if you look closely, of the Spanish Moss. It grows on trees in South Carolina's upstate. This is growing in my almond tree.

I'm in San Diego, where it's pretty hard to grow the spanish moss, but I'm trying. It's so beautiful! I'm glad I was told about it, I've researched it a lot. One thing in my favor is that I read it tends to go "dormant" instead of dying.

The fall might break the inflorence, (sometimes leaves too), but usually (even with a couple breaks), a fall won't kill a phal.... If that were the case, I'd probably not have many orchids left (I grow on a porch that gets the occasional strong breeze... Lol). Just be sure to dust the edges of breaks with cinnamon (store-bought, ground cinnamon, from the baking section), so it dries the wound to prevent any nasties.

Although, a tiny, struggling phal, that's inside a clay pot, that you just finished drilling alot of holes in (very artistically, I might add, and with a very dull bit... which took a very long time)... and then, the pot falls, breaks and lands on top of the little recovering phal, that, will, in fact, kill it I may have experienced that last year...
