I love lizards! We have tons of green anoles here as well, and tree frogs too!
Altho, I have to watch my cat and make sure she doesn't hurt them
I welcome them, spiders, frogs, praying mantises, and dragon flies, they can feast on all the things that would feast on my orchids!!
Kindrag, do you have a screened in porch? That's where my plants are, and it helps keep the big grasshoppers/crickets (& other stuff) out... Although I just found a small grasshopper in a pot this morning... Didn't seem to have done any damage tho. Even with the screen, I still get anoles & tree froggies inside my porch (we have screen on the underside of the porch as well (under the floor), keeps the skeeters out
), so they do seem to take care of most things like grasshoppers.
