a little college kid ingenuity
Where I live hanging net pots are not readily available. And since I have already blown my fun money budget heres how I made some hanging pots!
Ribbon and a masonry drill!

Did you drill the holes on your clay pots?
It is way too cool !
You can also use old dry cleaning wires with the use of sturdy pliers if you run out of those red checkered ribbons....

Yeah I had not thought of that. But the ribbon I can adjust the height easier.
Yeah a masonry drill bit. With the pots soaking in water works great. And cheaper then the more expensive pots. Plus if they break, locktite it back together and u may have a few new holes with out having to drill.

you can also use a wet sponge touching the drillbit while drilling to lessen friction ....water and electricity is bad mojo

Sure we can, however, pots with holes can be bought (not sure really what's the price difference, I get everything in BOS). So, I spend my time with other projects, after starting with mini's like a month ago, and building small vase vivarium and small wood/glass terrarium, I started to play with Hygrolon and I am building Hygrolon cylinder that will be placed inside tall vase, than applying dry moss on it to start grow, and than mini's all around:-) So, my hands are little too full now, trying something new and cool, and will see how it works. But I must give you thumbs up, it is great way how to make your own hole pots and safe (I forgot how tight was the budget when I was at college, I guess:-))
