Please advice - first Phal species...!?

Dear users of this wonderful forum,

I don't have any phal species, so I need advice, cos I have some requirements and condition for such an orchid.

I like bellina, purple phals, but I live in an apartment East oriented.

Can you recommend me some species!

Well, obviously, bellina violacea is fairly easy too, pulchra is a bright purple (very pretty) as far as I know, pulchra is an easy grower (don't have this one yet)... Um, lueddemanniana has stripes with purple in them... That's all I can think of now.

Modesta, equestris, pulcherrima (anything that used to be Doritis), delisciosa... sanderiana & schilleriana are kinda pinkish purple.

Any others I wouldn't recommend to a beginner, but your mileage may vary
