With the Cyms, you say they are in a window with bright partial sun ... however just a pane of clear glass can actually cut down the sunlight they receive by a significant amount. It's not enough to shade a plant that needs non-direct light... but it's enough to significantly reduce the light to one that needs full outside sun.
I have my one Cym in full sun outside from about 6am - 10pm at mid summer (less as the days shorten) it's in the brightest spot in the whole garden.
Don't suddenly put them in an outdoor bright spot, but try increasing the light to them steadily.
