Kindrag23 yes, that does help. I always look at the condition of the flowers when purchasing one. The roots are usually covered up by some decorative wrapping, it never occured to me to check them! Thanks.

WhiteRabbit, well I did repot mine. The new pot is a clear plastic one. It has more drainage holes as opposed to just one from the previous pot it was in. I've taken some of the advice on here. Not sure if it will grow back or die (if it's not already) But it doesn't hurt to try. I hope I get the same luck as you.
