Gloria...I will check the roots....I didn't check 'em cuz I thought Cal-Orchids was a pretty reputable grower and I didn't want to disturb the plants. I know it is putting out a new root, so if I check the roots, you know what I am going to do with it...put it in s/h....lol...I may wait until the new root is a tad longer.
Sarah...you and I have alot of head scratching going on....lol.

Uh new roots are good! Any new fans?
These delenatiis are the slower growers, so are their crosses
But they do love their light.
Let us know what your findings are eh?

Hi!
How is the orange/brown leaf? Is it soft/mushy or dry? I can't tell by the pic! It reminds me of a disease I've seen before, but not on orchids.

Becca, a couple of things.
I water with fert nearly every watering with all of my orchids. I am currently watering when I think about it.
I tried del in s/h and it did not like it. So much so it died on me. Your mileage may vary though.
I have mine growing in various lights but the ones that seem to do best are under twin floros.
I see you have yours in your orchid case. Have you tried moving it to a less humid environment?
Oh, and it has been just a TAD more than a MONTH!!!! hehe

I have a couple of delenatii hybrids in S/H, getting 125 ppm N with MSU RO Fert at every single watering (a couple of times a week this time of year) and they grow like mad.

Yeah, you got better mileage on yours than I got on mine. As discussed MANY times, anything could have influenced the failure.
