Yeah I think so. Just dont water her anymore make sure she is getting good air flow. Near a fan maybe

Brown and peeling = dead roots.

Do you have a pic of the pot you intend to use?

Misting is not necessary.

Depending on how many roots your Phal still has, you can make your own clear plastic pots with water bottles, and poke lots on holes in it.

orchid gal, there are lots of orchid hypochondriacs on here. by the pic your orchid looks fine. when the blooms wilt, phals are typically tired from the exertion. After you cut off the dead spike and see some new roots its time to repot. but i think your phal is fine.

She has 3 roots right now with 2 new ones on the way. I will be getting a pot tomorrow that is much smaller and a lot of holes in it. She only had 2 dead roots
