What is this black stuff on my phal's leaf? Female

Was there any color on the paper towel/tissue that you used to wipe down the leaves w the alcohol? (like a reddish-orange color?)

or green. some mites are bright yellow, almost coloress, but green will come out when rubbed with tissue. their stomach content I guess. lol

Nope. It was a little dirty, but I imagine that's just dust from the mount. I always get dust on my hands when I handle the mount cuz it's still dirty on the inside lol.

No, it was fine, except a little bit of (I think) dust. Like a little tinge of brown that you'd expect if dirt blew on it outside. Not even much, it was VERY faint. But otherwise it was colorless.
