Default Blooming vanda

My vanda from parkside has bloomed

Its light green, even though the pic looks yellow.

No, I actually had it hidden behind all my other orchids for the past few weeks. My research indicated that it only wants morning sun but high humidity. It gets humidity outside, but I can't provide accurate morning sun, so it gets very broken (through a lilac bush) sun throughout the day. It also gets light rain through the bush too. I must be doing something right! It went from straight spike to full bloom since I purchased

Oh wow! Good for you! I am a little jealous as I am still waiting for my vanda to spike. I am happy for you though. Enjoy the blossoms!

Thumbs up

That is so beautiful! I'm very jealous. I'm trying to grow roots on one of mine and had to buy one in spike to maybe someday get a flower. You give me inspiration.
