Random question:
Are Snapdragons a type of Orchid?
Happy news:
Just purchased my 3rd Phal today!
Nothing special- a noid and on sale for 4$ (it's a mini) Leaves look great, but I know the roots need some love. Has some new root growth so there is hope. :P
It was an impulse buy. My husband actually said "you should get that one" and who am I to argue with him?
Snapdragons (Antirrhinum) belong to the family Plantaginaceae, the plantain family. (formerly, treated within the family Scrophulariaceae, but studies of DNA sequences have led to its inclusion in a vastly enlarged family Plantaginaceae)
Cool, my family is usually telling me to stop getting so many plants. Especially my orchids since mine are starting to take over all the houses window sills Bahaha. goog luck with you new baby.
Well, he did just have a glass of wine before we headed out (I drove :P)
But I don't know. The place we went is a garden center (not at lowes or Home Depot or anything) and its very pretty just to walk around and the weather was beautiful. I guess he was just in a good mood.
I was surprised too. Haha
Then is no way I will hear my husband say that, he does not drink! May be if I give him Chocolate before going into the garden center??
Congrats on your new addition, now your husband has become an enabler in your orchiaddiction Nice!
My husband only drinks occassionally and only one glass. That's enough for him to feel a bit more generous. Haha
Chocolate might do the trick, you never know.
It helped that the plant still had some blooms and it was only $4.
