I like dark ones too, but don't have one yet. I actually bought the wardii for the leaves. You seem to have the best of both plants, the leaves and a dark bloom.
Sounds like yours is going to bloom soon, mine still has a long way to go.

I think I will keep my paph even if the bud opens up to be an ugly flower to my taste because I just love the leaves!

It is so waxy! I should get a good photo of a close up shot and post it here for you.

Mine will open up any day now. I think next week. but then a few more days to fully open up. so I say about two weeks from now, I should be ready with some pictures.

Yours will be ready in about two months I think.
