I agree with Island Girl. Last year I used a seaweed extract every week along with my fertilizer. This year I've reduced it to twice a month and I think I'm getting better results or at least results that are just as good. One thing that I've noticed (it could be my imagination) is that using bloom booster fertilizer occasionally seems to help the roots grow. Roots require phosphorus and many modern orchid fertilizers contain less phosphorus than they used to. If you have any bloom booster fertilizer, try using it on the roots once or twice a month. If you don't have any, it's probably not worth buying it. Good luck.
