The roots on the plant look good from what I have read. There are a couple peeking up over the edge. They are light green, firm, slightly shiny/waxy at the ends.
The plant media has what looks like moss and woodchips. The rest of the plant looks healthy as well..although the leaves are a bit dark, which makes me think it needs more light. It's new home on my window sil should should help
We only keep the windows open now, since it is so hot during the day...once it starts getting too cool, the window will be shut! Luckily as well, the window is right below our air circulation vent, so that should help the plant not to get soggy.
