Phaleonopsis Bargain

Last week a local grocery store marked down a few of their Phaleonopsis which they have not treated properly to 10 kronor (less than 1 and a half US$ or GB£). They had cost 79 kronor. Since I did not have the colours of this one in the enclosed picture I bought it. It was rather dry. If the others had been colours I did not already have I would have bought them too. After I watered it the Phaleonopsis perked up a bit. There are altogether 11 flowers. At least 6 will last a little longer. Even if they had all dried I would have bought it as long as I could see that the colours were ones I did not already have, because in a year's time they will bloom again. Now I am keeping watch to see if a red, orange or spotted one gets marked down to 20 kronor or less because if there are I shall buy it. I am very pleased with this bargain, my 16th Phaleonopsis. The flowers look like they will last even longer today.

You cannot not buy to that price. Heck, I'd even buy colours I already have for that price. And these white with the dark pink lip are nice.

This was one of the very first orchid colors that I had bought. Great find and a even more amazing price good job!

I too have different colors for each of my phals. Two months ago I purchased a sale orchid......now I have 15! Four were not in bloom and hope to get them to flower to be surprised. Your orchid is beautiful and so was the price- don't believe I could have shown so much restraint!

I got one that color after mothers day, I paid $7.00 for it and I thought I got a deal wow you got a much better one.

I have never seen any around hear for that price, I think they would rather throw them out first than sell them that cheap.
