Baby Phal
Default Baby Phal

So, as a beginner, I was a bit surprised to see a little baby phal growing off my phal (I had no idea that they did this and was pleasantly surprised it did it). It was getting a bit crowded in the pot, so I repotted and during the repotting, it kind of just separated on it's own. So I decided to just pot it in it's own pot. It's been a couple of years now and it's doing fine, growing new leaves.

But here's the question. When is it suppose to flower? My phals all flower at least once a year for a few months out of the year. But nothing from the baby. I thought maybe the counter space I was using was too crowded and it wasn't getting any light, so I moved some of my phals to another place where there was more light and less crowding. So now my phals in the new spot are flowering, but still nothing from this one and they've all been there for at least a year now.

Am I doing something wrong? Am I just not patient?
