No problem--I know how easy it is to send to the wrong addy! Of course, it DID get me wondering where I'd put my wedding pix (and the divorce papers, but that's another story)....

Please stay in touch if you can, and don't let one imbecilic anglophobic curmudgeon (there are other words I'd like to use, but the mods tend to get cranky if I do) drive you away.

In fact, I'm thinking of adopting a "breezier" writing style in solidarity with you....Didn't Monty Python do a "how to be annoying" sketch way back when????

Totally agree, one member is NOTHING and you should not allow them to dictate you what you can and can not write or what style you should use. I do not feel like you did offend anyone and what's more, I do really ENJOY the style you write and chat! It is definitely fresh and enjoyable! And if someone does not LIKE that particular thread, why HE/SHE just STAY AWAY, no one is saying that everyone MUST read everything??? If I am not right, or I will be banned for this comment than be it, this was suppose to be free forum with people with same interests sharing their hobby, and from time to time their life and fun!

Well, can you tell I had no social life in school and spent far too many evenings reading the dictionary???? And aren't you feeling better now????

Sometimes the best medicine really is laughter.

So go fuss over your orchids, get a good night's sleep (I'm assuming it's almost 2 AM there) and haved fun on this forum learning about these challenging/aggravating/gorgeous plants!

BTW, I'm named for two Catherines, actually--Catherine the Great (Czarina of Russia) and Catherine from Wuthering Heights--both strong women. Of course my daughter is named for even stronger women--Athur's benefactress (the lady of the lake) and the heroine of Shaw's Mrs. Warren's Profession....

Hello- I was reading your post and just wanted to say I think you should stay too Lorna! If just one member sent you a private message complaining about how you talk don't leave! I guess if it was a moderator and they banned you then that's a different matter but if you have been banned I don't think you would be able to keep posting. I have read a few of your posts and I don't find them offensive at all! As far as I know, a senior member can't tell you to leave unless they are a moderator. If you don't already know this, the way you become a senior member is by the number of posts you have made. It doesn't make you higher on the totem pole or anything! If this person keeps sending you mean messages I would tell a moderator. There is no need to be so mean! Anyway sorry you are getting bullied on here! Hang in there!

I'm afraid I can't change my writing style coz that's just the way I am.

I have toned down the picture so I am not a threat to anyone hopefully. Hope your wife approves of this one more Mister Complainer.

You should NOT mind another's opinion. It is just an opinion. If you had crossed some line (very few here), a moderator or admin will contact you, that's their job.

Some members are more serious (sometimes to the point of being sanctimonious), others are complete nut-jobs (me!) but every one has the option to read or ignore posts and posters.

Although I've not used it myself, there is a "chat" function on this board if you want to "talk" in realtime with people.

I didn't think your last picture was offensive at all! You didn't need to change it. Be who you are and write how you write. If people have issues with it they don't have to look or read it! I don't get why they would have issues though.
