To cut or not to cut? Female

I am now only beginning to understand the evils of Sphagnum Moss (SM)...I kid, but seriously; I have bought a couple of Phals grown in SM and when potted into their new bark mix, they are not happy. It takes a good month or so for the plant to acclimate to the new potting medium as well its new home (difference in humidity, constant temperature, etc.). I agree with the others, if the roots are ok, leave the spikes alone. It will recuperate with time and some TLC.
