Looks like my Psycho is ready for bloom again.
So far it has 2 bulbs each with their own spike. One spike keeps on getting taller, while the second is swelling again, after having rested for less than 2 months.
I have a Mendenhall 'Hildos' in flower right now, I'll post a picture tomorrow. Their spikes get quite tall, sometimes stop growing and resume growing after a rest period. They are sequential bloomers, so don't cut the spike after the flower falls off. A new bud will develope.

Was worried that in a few months it won't fit if it keeps up like this.
Sometimes they continue to bloom on the same spike for years! I have seen pics of them that are at least 5' tall. Right now mine is about 3'. Guess we will have to get some very tall stakes.... Jean

I have four of these same type, and their average length is 42". Now that they produce flowers, they should only grow a few more centimeters in length or so any time soon. Each new sequential flower hardly adds much length at all. If I end up having a spike last for so many years that it grows much longer, I will consider it a reward!
