If anyone is in Columbus Ohio, the fabulous Oakland Park Nursery has discounted the orchids which have bloomed already for the season. I've never caught an orchid sale here before so I went a little crazy. They have lots of interesting genera as well as many nice Phals. Some of them are quite large plants normally priced at $40. All very vigorous and healthy - and very cheap. We're talking $5-10.

Just try not to find the sales too often. I did it a couple times in a row and it was dangerous... for the bank account!

I weekly go on mondays to look for orchids on sale at BB Barns- I limit myself to one a week lol- last week I got
'Pot Love Avenue 'Serenade' !
the week before a paph- Maudiae x Napa Valley
Oh and the first time I went to BB Barns a Noid Oncidium. I had phals I'd gotten from lowes clearance rack...I wonder what I'll find this coming Monday..
