I looked at my lamp, and it is a 13 watt bulb inside an Ottlite.
Cute! Yours seem happy! Cheesecloth is pretty cheap and would probably work in my bathroom for the cattleyas, I have some around here somewhere. But I'm looking to break up the direct light in a larger, living room window for a different plant which is why I was thinking lace. Also that particular section of the window is 3 ft by 3 ft..and fabric at Wallyworld is pretty cheap and they cut it for you, lol.

Thank you! I will have a look and see what I can do for them!

The room I have those in is actually my walk-in closet, so no one goes in there, hence the cheese cloth. I did think about putting organza in there, but I couldn't find any remnants at JoAnn.

Lol, I actually just picked up lace from Walmart...I would have to pick the fabric that costs $7/yd, (there was no tag) lol. I realized after I asked her to cut it that I could have gotten a single 84" panel and cut it for like $5 less...oh well! This lace is prettier anyway....
