Lol...I am working on the patience! The roots at the top are just so wrinkled and dried that I am afraid it's dying!

Are those all alive? They seem to be blooming a new flower?

That dead "looking" root is alive and putting out a new root tip. If a root is still firm regardless of color, it is still possible for it to absorb moisture.

I think my orchid has bugs in it...I have killed about 3 tiny black bugs that I see crawling on it when I try to look deeper, I can't see anymore but I'm to sure if they are inside. The leaves have very few little marks on them. What do you think I should?

I get a bottle of household plant insecticide and spray a little in a pot just large enough to soak the plant in and mix it up and soak the plant dfor a couple minutes. Or if larger plant I just spray the top of the media and that usually kills the bugs.

Are the bugs harmful to the plant? Should I repot? Or just spray it?

I am of the opinion that most all bugs are harmful to my orchids one way or the other. I don't like them and I never will. Oh...are thought we were talking about Kingons. Never mind.
