You've gotten some good advice on this thread. What Ray said is important, don't use more than one growth stimulant. Personally I prefer seaweed extract which I use every two weeks but once a month is probably plenty. It can be mixed with your regular fertilizer or used alone. During the spring and summer I would use the Better Grow Orchid Plus and occasionally use one of the growth hormone products.
I fertilize every time I water with a weak solution. I grow outside so I also use Pro-Tekt. Keep your KLN in the refrigerator and it'll last long. It's been well established that you can't freeze it!
In addition, I also use Seaweed twice a month and once a month make a point to just flush with clear clean water. I also use the KLN but sparingly.
Just remember to enjoy your orchids. They are so pampered aren't they? (Just like my kitties!)

Thank you for the advice tucker 85. You are correct I have gotten some very good advice here. And was very attentive to what Ray had to say. Everyone here has been so great about helping me figure out how to do this right. I want to grow beautiful orchids not puny mostly dead ones.

Thanks again HighSeas. I will be sure to put me KLN in the fridge. I like the seaweed also it seems like a more natural thing to use. I have been trying to grow on my porch but it seems it is never going to stop raining in fl. I am so sick of it. And I know my orchids are confused with the moving about. And my kitty is very pampered and the doggy. Have a great night and thanks for the input.
