Default got a paphiopedilum today

I could use some advice- I noticed it's growing a new plant. Do paphs grow keiki's or do they grow a new section before reblooming. Are there any different tips on growing a paph from other orchids? Any advice is appreciated. I've removed the moss & planted it in a clear orchid planter with bark & Leca.

The tag says -

paph.(makuli-curtisII)-Maudiae x Maudiae'Napa Valley' HCC/AOS x Sib

It was on sale because it was no longer in bloom.

The Maudiae type are usually easy to grow and get to spike again, but you might not see that for a year. It will usually not bloom out of the old growth, but will out of the new one. Looks like you are already on track :-)

They can take less light, but it will grow better with plenty!
