L. Pacava (LP Werkhauseri x L. Tenebrosa "Cabo Frio")
Another orchid that snuck up on me. It resides way up high for max light and these flowers came out behind the foliage where I couldn't see them. this is a big plant in a deep pot so it only gets watered once every two weeks. I usually just get a bucket full of water and slowly pour it into the pot where it sits so I don't have to break my arm lifting it up from behind other orchids in front of it. Hope you like it.
Also a second flower has opened on my C. Gaskelliana. Less mottled than the first one. There are three more buds to go.
Here's the rest of the flowers open.

Very nice. I see a lot of the tenebrosa in it.

The L. Pacava is stunning. It will be interesting to see how the upcoming buds on the Gaskelliana will turn out. Hopefully not overly mottled.

Lovely. Seems to be a generous growing area.
In picture 3 is there a colour break in the right gaskelliana flower?

Thank goodness you don't mind keeping virused plants because the Pacava is also infected.
