Question Lost Blooms

Received a DTPS. Newberry parfit piccote x Fajens Fireworks Miami AM/AOS from my son for mother days. The dtps had 4 blooms with 3 awaiting to open as well as a tip. The blooms died along with the tip before opening. Any suggestions as to what happened. I looked over the plant (magnified) and looks well, no fungus, no infestation. Could this be a light thing goin' on. Hope this attachment comes out 1st time for me.

Sounds like bud blast to me.

Bud blast is the withering and dropping of buds from an otherwise healthy plant. Generally, the culprit is a rapid change in environment—usually going from warm to cold and vice versa. In the winter, frequent causes of bud blast are drafts from windows, blasts from hot ovens, and bringing a plant in from the car or outside. In the summer, it can be rapid heat fluctuations… In addition, some chemicals such as ethylene gas given off by ripening fruit can also cause bud blast and combustion gases. Could also be caused by low humidity or poor root system.

Funny thing, I just had 3 otherwise perfect flowers on Phal. Maki Watanabe fade and dry up at exactly the same time

Bud blast, could very well be I did move from a west window, in Florida not a good idea to a nook getting a.m. east, north, west (difused) in the p.m. Also noticed algae in the pot....hummmmm...received it that way, should probably cut back on the watering.

Tindomul1of9...omg there's my sign...

I moved the phal in the nook an gave way to much TLC, I have an oscolating fan set up and I would bet it caused the blast. Time to regroup.
