That's great James! I remember that Phal, and the Catt too! They've grown so much! I practically didn't recognize the Phal! Lol Great Growing! Seriously. That's an awesome way to build a collection... I don't think many ppl buy/throw out orchids where I live

Sharon, if u wanna learn about orchid seed growing (which is a long & complicated process) go to the "Propagation" section in the forum off the main page there's a lot of info, as well as tutorials And, not to mention, googling it

Very neat! Any chance you could throw up some 'before' pics? I've got quite a few rescues of my own, and seeing these is really encouraging.

And I would definitely agree that seeing rescues recover is immensely rewarding. And I too have learned a ton about orchids in caring for them.

SkayC1 there are probably orchid clubs near you and that is where you can find lots of orchids for free or nearly so. Lots of people divide their over grown orchids and give away divisions for free. They also have spring and fall orchid shows and that is where you can find donated orchids for sale. That's how a lot of clubs make money.
