Yes, it is possible, and it should be pretty straight forward.
I've grown an unknown kind of Encyclia mounted onto a small piece of cork bark for about 8 years without a problem.
Grab a mount that is larger than the plant. (Cork bark is the hobby staple. But essentially it doesn't really matter what kind of mount it's put on. This plant should be hardy enough to accept most mounts without a problem.)
If you're using cork bark, place a thin layer of moss on top of the bark. Then place the orchid's roots on top of the moss.
If you find that the orchid's roots are shriveling later down the line because the area you live in is not humid enough, put another thin layer of moss on top of the roots.
I like using New Zealand Sphagnum Moss, btw, and that's what I would recommend using for now.
