Why are my mokara green root tips disappearing?
This is a variety of mokara that is grown under full sun.
It is currently blooming with 3 spikes.
I place it under direct sun.
I spray at it every morning.
I noticed the green tips are slowly disappearing.
Is the daily watering to be blamed?
What could be causing the green root tips to go inactive?

It could be nothing more than a period of dormancy, or reduced growth rate. Normally, I would first qyestion humidity, but having visited Singpore, I know that's not likely an issue.

I have my Mokaras in direct sunlight these warm months, and I have to water them twice a day despite the heat and humidity in Manhattan, NY....we even had a couple of days of rains and it is loving it....
Mokara is a hybrid of Ascocentrum, Arachnis and Vanda which was created in 1969 in Singapore. You are the perfect location to grow these kind of orchids.
I suggest you spray the plant with physan 20 and disinfect it to rule out fungi and bacterial infestation....
otherwise I wouldn't be so much concerned: the plant might just be getting accustomed to the local conditions....local conditions change as the humidity and watering change....you might have a situation where the roots are healthy but does not grow at a significant rate. This might be due to temperature, humidity, etc.(as Ray have pointed out) sometimes a sudden change in position and light will put them in a dormant phase.

Are the tips just changing to a brown color or are they drying up and turning brown and papery? Some roots have a finite growth period and stop growing for awhile then throw side roots and grow some more. My Mokara didn't but iit didn't have full sun either.

These leaves look very dehydrated. I know vandas have tough leaves and deteriorate as they get older but these look very dry.

Depending on how warm it is in Singapore right now, you might be able to water your Mokara everyday to revive your plant. Even on very warm days, you might probably get away with watering it twice a day.
When it perks back up, you can cut the watering down to once every 2 days.
