Leaf Color - Is this OK?

So my new Phal's leaves were a bit dark in the store. I have had it for roughly 4 days and the leaves are changing color. They are lighter in the crown and around it, but not rot like yellow-tinged. They are the color they should be, but the rest of the leaves are still a dark "I need light green". Is this how it happens, the change into healthy color is gradual? I just want to make sure I am providing enough light.

The leaves are now a lot more perky, not floppy like before, but the color worries me a little. The roots are good. I am still so new at this I just want to make sure that I am not missing warning signs before it is too late.
