Leaf Color - Is this OK? Female
Default Leaf Color - Is this OK?

So my new Phal's leaves were a bit dark in the store. I have had it for roughly 4 days and the leaves are changing color. They are lighter in the crown and around it, but not rot like yellow-tinged. They are the color they should be, but the rest of the leaves are still a dark "I need light green". Is this how it happens, the change into healthy color is gradual? I just want to make sure I am providing enough light.

The leaves are now a lot more perky, not floppy like before, but the color worries me a little. The roots are good. I actually posted pictures of the repotting in my previous thread http://www.orchidboard.com/community...ust-one-2.html You can scroll down towards the bottom of that page to see the images.

I am still so new at this I just want to make sure that I am not missing warning signs before it is too late.

I can't spot anything wrong leaf colour wise on your other thread. I guess they were dark if not in enough light and will change where they are exposed to more light. Just be carefully light is not too bright and they don't get burned

I agree, they look okay to me. My large phal has dark leaves, that are lighter at the crown. I don't think it is unusual.
