Default shipping baby phals

Hey,

Think a bunch of baby phals could survive the 5 day trip in a box?
Otherwise courier shipping it is....

As long as they're not subjected to extremes of temperature, yes. I once had some (adult) orchids survive a month in a box at the post office.
If these baby phals are still "in vitro" the gel they're in will give them everything they need anyway.

They are not flasked. Guess shipping with slower service should be ok.

I've had various orchids go 5 days in a box with no problems. As long as they don't get to hot or cold they should be fine.

Some states don't like potted plants shipped into their state, I don't know about Canada, or what rules each 'district' or city has...best to ask the post master.

Not aware of any plant shipping restrictions within Canada. Most provinces have unified rules.

The whole shipping bare root thing is a result of the agricultural and/or wildlife department(s) of our government(s) finding a way to restrict plant pathogens and other pests that are potentially dangerous to agricultural crops and indigenous wildlife that may be soil borne. I mentioned this piece of information just in case it'll be able to guide you in the right path to finding out whatever you may need to do in order to coordinate a way to ship plants without the government stepping in.
