The 4 I put on the cool balcony have not had spikes for some time. One is several years old. Another is small. One is the dehydrated recycling room find whose spikes I cut off at the base instead of halfway up the spike like the other dehydrated recycling one found at the same time which has just bloomed with large white flowers. Finally there is one from a friend and he told me it was some kind of white variety. I very much want to get these 4 to bloom and have made room for them where I have supplementary lighting. All except the recycling one have a new leaf. They all look healthy. I shall not move them again but leave them at about 22 C all day and night.

Yes, keep them at room temperature where you feel comfortable and they will flower when they want to.

Good luck!
