Help! My orchid's petals are drooping...

I received my orchid as a gift for Valentine's Day. Since then it has been very healthy, happy, & in need of very little care. Within the past 2 days I've noticed it's petals begin to droop. Nothing in it's environment has changed so I'm puzzled as to what is wrong with it. I admit I know nothing about orchids. Any advice on what is wrong with it & what I can do would be greatly appreciated!!

it may just be time for the blooms to drop!

Most orchid flowers don't last more than a couple/few months. If you've been able to keep one happy and going since Valentine's day, you had a GREAT run!

Its just time for the blooms to expire. February to June is quite long, most orchid flowers have a couple of months until they drop....
