You will probably have more luck sending the matured seed pods off to a lab to be sown ("flasking"), but this can turn out quite expensive, although you can sometimes do it yourself by using pressure cookers for autoclaves and improvising a glove box, this is quite a job...
Of course, doing it "right", getting a laminar flow bench, autoclave etc. etc. etc. will cost a
lot more than sending off a couple of pods for flasking, but it is another fun aspect to the hobby if you're into that sort of mad scientist lab stuff.
