So I decided to Pollinate 2 Phal flowers ( experiment ) after watching some You Tube videos. What am I to expect now? I know in few days she will swell somewhat. But I don't know if I'll see results this year on next batch of flowers? Thanks in advance for any info. ( ps- my Fav is the Salmon Phal Orchid- and a white and Yellow Phal )

If the seed pods take and don't abort, they should be mature enough to harvest in 5 months or so. Then you can sow the seeds in any number of ways. You can google sowing orchid seeds or search the threads here.

You will probably have more luck sending the matured seed pods off to a lab to be sown ("flasking"), but this can turn out quite expensive, although you can sometimes do it yourself by using pressure cookers for autoclaves and improvising a glove box, this is quite a job...

Of course, doing it "right", getting a laminar flow bench, autoclave etc. etc. etc. will cost a lot more than sending off a couple of pods for flasking, but it is another fun aspect to the hobby if you're into that sort of mad scientist lab stuff.

Good luck!
