I will have to add pictures tomorrow, but I now have 4 more orchids. You can see the "mamas" in this post:

I got 1 cluster of Anacheilium Cochleatum and THREE from what was hanging over the side of the Onc Alaskan Sunset. The main root feeding that clump was almost the diameter of a dime! We had to get out the garden clippers for that one (flamed the best we could). The Oncs definitely have scale (they only like the bloom spikes on this plant?) so they're on the other side of the porch until I research that issue further.

I generally let leaves do what they want; most plants will re-orient their leaves (sloooowly) to your growing conditions.
